One pensioner was robbed of 30,000 UAH, another one – of food

A resident of Uzhgorod reported to the city police department that an unknown person had stolen cash in the amount of 30,000 UAH from the bedroom of his 87-year-old mother’s apartment. The old woman kept the money in her purse. The police are searching for the thief and the stolen money.

An 85-year-old pensioner from the village of Strabychovo in Mukachevo district also became the victim of a robber. In the morning an unemployed resident of the same village came to his place and, using physical force, took away from the defenseless man a bottle of vodka, 2 kg of bacon, a sausage stick and other food products. The amount of losses amounted to about 300 UAH. The pensioner reported this to Mukachevo city police and they are now dealing with the robber.

The third victim was an 81-year-old resident of Uzhgorod. The pensioner reported to Uzhgorod city police that a woman, who was nursing him, had stolen from his apartment the money in the amount of 450 UAH, a gold ring, a radio and a mat. The amount of losses amounted to 800 UAH.

All the claims of victims are now being considered by the police to bring offenders to justice – the PR service of the Office of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine in Transcarpathian region reported.
