Today, 26 April, a new dog training center was officially opened in Uzhgorod. The head of the canine work organization sector of the Criminal Investigation Department of Ukraine Interior Ministry Vitaly Ivanchenko said that it is one of the best in the country.
In addition, the center is located straight at the border and during Euro-2012, in case a situation occur when the dogs’ work will be needed, experts will provide practical assistance to colleagues.
As the chief of the Interior Ministry of Ukraine in Transcarpathian region Victor Rusin said, the state didn’t have to pay a single penny for the centre – it was built for the sponsorship received from the Transcarpathian entrepreneurs. In total there was spent 350 000 hryvnia.
By the way, thanks to the well-coordinated work, only for the first quarter of the current year in Transcarpathia four-legged officers uncovered 219 crimes.
