On the World Book Day, Transcarpathian writers met with the most important readers (PHOTOS)

23 квітня у приміщенні закарпатського осередку Національної спілки письменників України відбулася літературна акція «Жива книга» – з нагоди Всесвітнього дня книги та авторського права.

On April 23, in the premises of the Transcarpathian branch of the National Union of Writers of Ukraine, there was a literary event "Living Book" – on the occasion of the World Day of Book and Copyright.

Well-known local writers Galina Malyk, Petro Chodanych and Vasyl Husti met with children. Writers are convinced that they are the most important readers, because a person, who loves reading at an early age, will definitely carry this useful hobby through life and is guaranteed to be successful, interesting and harmonious personality.

Among the Transcarpathian writers, there are many those, who partially or completely dedicated their art to children and gained recognition in this area far beyond the region. Among the recent achievements of local writers is the inclusion of selected works by Galina Malyk and Oleksandr Havrosh to the Gold list of recommended books for children.

Traditionally, the most active readers of Uzhgorod schools took part in the literary event "Living Book".
