In the Transcarpathian Academic Regional Ukrainian Music and Drama Theater, young Kyiv director Mykola Babin is preparing the production of a New Year’s fairy tale. He is the head of the Kyiv theater studio "VIK" and the founder of the original creative project "Spring", which has been going on for three seasons now.
The idea of the project is informal meetings with leading theater specialists. After all, the contexts of art projects are always interesting. As part of the "Spring" project, more than thirty meetings with well-known Ukrainian theater directors and actors have been held.
While working in Uzhgorod, Mykola Babin had an idea to tell about Transcarpathian theater environment too. The main highlight of these creative meetings is that they are recorded and posted online.
The first Transcarpathian meeting under the "Spring" project was with Vasyl Mariukhnych, the director of the largest theater of Transcarpathia, and his deputy, actor Lyubomyr Helyas.
On Wednesday, December 5, at 16:00, on the small stage of the Transcarpathian Music and Drama Theater, Mykola Babin will talk with Ukrainian journalist, writer and playwright, the dramaturg of the theater, Oleksandr Havrosh. And on December 7, the participant of the "Spring" project will be the leading actor of the theater Oleksandr Mavrits.
