The checks on the hotel complex "Korona", the reconstruction of Narodna Square, actions of Uzhgorod City Council as to the legality of the sale of municipal property are ongoing – the regional prosecutor said.
"Does the Prosecutor’s office plan to conduct a comprehensive audit of the former management of the region and Uzhgorod who are now removed from power?" With this question, Uzhgorod.in appealed to the Regional Prosecutor Oleg Sydorchuk. This issue concerns many Uzhgorod residents, because there are many questions as to legality of certain actions of former officials.
"Checks are being conducted. On the hotel "Korona", the reconstruction of Narodna Square, actions of Uzhgorod City Council as to the legality of the sale of municipal property, renting of municipal public utilities and so on. We have repeatedly reported about that through our press service" – the prosecutor reminded.
"We always carry out checks on various issues, it is our daily hard work, the results of which we report to public. But if people have any information on violations of law by former or current state officials. please, report such information to us, and we will check it", – the prosecutor summed up.
