As uzhgorod.in previously reported, today, November 19, around noon on the international highway Kyiv-Chop an accident, involving juggernaut "Mercedes AXOR" and passenger car VAZ 2105, happened.
The accident occurred between villages of Klyachanovo and Ivanivtsi in Mukachevo district. Upon arrival at the scene the police found out that the truck driver lost control, causing the vehicle to roll over onto the oncoming lane. As a result, the "Mercedes AXOR" also collided with VAZ 2105. The passenger car was trapped between the truck and a metal pillar of a billboard. Fortunately, there were no dead and injured.
Emergency works, including disconnecting of the car battery, at the scene of the accident were carried out by officers of the State Fire and Rescue Station number 17.
During the liquidation of consequences of the accident, the highway traffic was not interrupted, but only partially restricted.
Detailed circumstances of the accident are being clarified by the law enforcement agencies – informed TD of MOE in Transcarpathian region.
