NON-exhibition. Vlad Gabda presented in Uzhgorod an action with seven pictures (PHOTOS)

NON-exhibition of Vlad Gabda opened in the "ART_PRO" gallery. 

This is how critic Mykhailo Syrokhman referred to the art event.

He said: "It would not be quite appropriate to refer to the display of seven works by Honored Artist of Ukraine Vlad Gabda in Uzhgorod gallery "ART-PRO" as a mini-exhibition. The very word "exhibition" does not quite fit his works. For even one Gabda’s work is already a performance, an action, an event.   The artist is like a magician, he does some tricks with paint, fills it with substance, controls its spreading and solidification, allows blotches, nodules, thickenings to appear. And this time too, the content of the display, which will run from April 21 to May 4, 2017, was difficult to predict. The expectations of unexpected were met. Despite the lack of picturesqueness, the paintings work great in the interior, stimulate imagination, encourage creativity," – the Foundation of Transcarpathian Art Development reported.
