New from the “UZ”: train Kyiv – Solotvyno

The "UZ" PJSC establishes a direct railway connection between Kyiv and eastern Transcarpathia. Thus, on May 3, 2017, a new train number 213/214 Kyiv – Solotvyno will start running.

The train departs from the station Kyiv-Passenger on odd days at 18:34 and arrives to the station Solotvyno-1 at 13:42. The train departs from the station Solotvyno-1 on even day at 14:55 and arrives to the capital of Ukraine at 10:05.

This train will provide the first direct rail connection between the capital of Ukraine Kyiv and settlements of eastern Transcarpathia. Now, residents of Solotvyno, Khust, Tyachiv, Vynogradiv, Beregovo, Korolevo will be able to quickly and conveniently travel to Kyiv and back.

"This train will be a powerful impetus for the development of tourism industry in the region, which will contribute to economic development and job creation. Eastern Transcarpathia was devoid of direct railway connection with Kyiv – only the train Lviv – Solotvyno was going to that area", – the chairman of the "UZ" PJSC Wojciech Balczun said.

The "UZ" JSC constantly studies the needs of the regions in railway traffic and tries to respond flexibly to the needs of the citizens.
