Today, a number of publications spread information that M. Kachur is wanted by the Security Service of Ukraine. The information was posted on the official website of the Ministry of Internal Affairs.
Zakarpattya Online contacted the director of the "Uzhgorod turbogaz" company Mykhailo Kachur to find out more about the situation regarding him being wanted by the Security Service of Ukraine.
According to M. Kachur, his lawyers are now dealing with the reports in the media. M. Kachur promised to post his statement on his Facebook page as soon as something is known about this issue.
M.Kachur is indeed listed as wanted by the Ministry of Internal Affairs in the section "PERSONS HIDING FROM AUTHORITIES" with the mark "PERSON HIDING FROM PRE-TRIAL INVESTIGATION".
It is noted that the ex-deputy was indicted under Part 5 of Art. 191 (appropriation, embezzlement or seizure of property by abuse of office in a particularly large amount), Part 3 of Art. 212 (tax evasion in a particularly large amount) of the Criminal Code. No pre-trial restraint was imposed on him.
