The project of multifunction municipal card of Uzhgorod resident was presented yesterday to the Mayor of Uzhgorod Bohdan Andriyiv and his deputy Oleksandr Bilak by representatives of the Oshchadbank of Ukraine.
The Oshchadbank is performing a radical upgrade of services and offers a universal card for Uzhgorod residents, which, in addition to banking, will be performing many other functions.
In particular, in addition to banking capabilities, it can serve as an electronic ticket; contain all the information about available privileges, subsidies; discounts, bonuses at shops, pharmacies, partner establishments; contain a digital signature of the holder; will serve as access to electronic medical records, that give doctors access to all medical history of the patient, information on the drugs used, allergies to certain medications, the like.
As noted at the meeting, every Uzhgorod resident over 16 will be eligible for the card. Implementation and development of applications will also facilitate the installation of electronic terminals in public transport, medical facilities, even at the state and local government institutions. Overall, the project aims to bring us one step closer to Europe. It has already been launched in Kyiv, Lviv, Chernivtsi and more.
This was mostly introductory meeting, in the future it is planned to sign documents on cooperation between the state bank and Uzhgorod City Hall.
