Members of Mukachevo City Council at the last session approved the Program of cross-border cooperation, investment and tourism activities in Mukachevo in 2016. It is planned to allocate 442,000 UAH for its implementation. The program will allow to intensify cross-border cooperation of the city, to create a positive international tourist image and to increase the investment attractiveness of Mukachevo.
The program provides for preparation of applications for grant competitions funded by sources of international technical assistance, including those for infrastructure projects, co-finance activities under grant projects, conduct of presentations of tourist potential of the city on regional and global events, creation of a tourism portal of Mukachevo, expansion of the geography of international cooperation at the level of partnership agreements.
The department of economy and cross-border cooperation of the executive committee of Mukachevo City Council will be coordinating the activities between the program participants and will be monitoring its implementation .
