On the occasion of the International White Cane Day, the city library showcased an exhibition "Reading as Equals", which features books printed in Braille designed for blind and partially sighted children and adults. This is stated in the report of the Mukachevo City Council.
The International Day of the White Cane, symbol of the blind man, was approved on October 15, 1970, at the initiative of the International Federation of the Blind.
Anyone can take books home to read, the City Council informs.
