Mukachevo electricians were caught on 1,500 UAH bribes

Two controllers of Mukachevo city and district power networks department of the "Zakarpattyaoblenergo" PJSC were caught on 1,500 UAH bribes.

Back on July 17, an entrepreneur J. reported to the city police officers that the electricians, while checking his premises, found a violation – the man paid with one meter for electrical services both for his own home, and for the cafe located in his house. The controllers asked 1,500 UAH for not reporting this violation.

The man paid the first part of the bribe – 500 UAH – on July 17. The second part – 1,000 UAH – yesterday. The police detained the controllers when they were receiving the bribe in the cafe.
