Mukachevo border guards visited boarding school students

On December 25, in Mukachevo boarding school, there was a children’s matinee, attended by representatives of Mukachevo border guard detachment. Among the guests, there were participants of the ATO – Lieutenant Colonel Volodymyr Ivanov, Captain Timur Savchenko, Sergeant Valeriy Novakovsky. Valeriy, by the way, by the Decree of the President of Ukraine, was awarded the medal "For Military Service to Ukraine": at the end of July he, as a mechanic-driver of APC, evacuated over twenty of his colleagues from entrapment.

During the meeting, the border guards told the kids about their service, and the "four-legged border guard" amused with his trained skills. In return, the children presented the guests a concert, at the end of which the pedagogical team represented by the director Yuriy Holish received a diploma from the Chief of Mukachevo Detachment for active participation and contribution to the military and patriotic education of children and youth, creativity and initiative.
