MP Robert Horvat appealed to the State Border Guard Service of Ukraine on the legality of the actions of Chop border guards and immediate measures for protection of violated rights of the citizens. Robert Horvat reported about that on his page on Facebook and promised to inform about the results.
It concerns the restraining device installed at the border crossing Uzhgorod – Vysne Nemecke and mainly the conflict that arose between the owners of cars with foreign registration and border guards on December 1 this year.
As you know, owners of the cars with foreign registration believe that the conflict was provoked by officers of the Chop border guard detachment.
Recall that the situation with border crossing by owners of the cars with foreign registration began to deteriorate with blocking of border crossing points by the latters and the subsequent introduction of the full procedure for border crossing with obligatory entry to the neighboring country confirmed by stamps in the passports of the drivers.
