Motocross Championship of Transcarpathian region and interregional competitions for the prize of motor-club ‘Beregvideik’ started in the village of Velyki Beregy that in Beregovo district on Sunday, July 22.
Beregovo district became the ninth district of the region, which began to develop this fascinating sport. The area on the outskirts of Velyki Beregy recently changed its appearance – on the initiative of enthusiasts who began to construct motor-route for sport competitions. The area on which is located the route is 5.3 hectares, length – 1800 meters.
– Motorsport has decent acquisitions in the region. Conducting of regional competitions, stages of the Championship, Cup of Ukraine and international competitions has already become a good tradition – said during his welcoming speech the head of the region Alexander Ledyda.
Competitions are held in the following categories ‘Veterans’, Amateurs’, ‘Quadro’, ‘Open’ in the classes of motorcycles with engine volume of 50, 65, 85, 150.
