Moskal: “In such circumstances, I consider working as the head of the Transcarpathian Regional State Administration impossible” (Statement)

Here is the statement of Hennadiy Moskal about "negative processes that are taking place in Transcarpathia and are intended to restore the shadow schemes and large-scale tobacco smuggling."

– The head of the Transcarpathian customs office Volodymyr Kolesnikov in the mid-2000s worked as the deputy chief of the OCD in Donetsk region, – H. Moskal said. – In 2005, he personally received a statement from the businessman Boris Pinchuk about extortion by Boris Kolesnikov and attempted murder. At the time when Donetsk region was fully under the control of the Party of Regions, not every police officer would have dared to do that. After the appointment of Rinat Kuzmin as the Deputy Prosecutor General of Ukraine, Volodymyr Kolesnikov suffered persecution. Several criminal cases against him were opened, and then he was fired from the police. At the Prosecutor General’s Office, a special group was created that was dealing with V.Kolesnikov’s matters and daily reported to R. Kuzmin.

 Today, V.Kolesnikov is removed from the post of the head of the Transcarpathian customs office not for his work, but as a result of political bargaining between the People’s Deputy of Ukraine V.Khomutynnyk, his "right hand" V.Skorobahach (former head of the Party of Regions faction in the Kharkiv City Council) and the Prime Minister of Ukraine V.Groisman. The purpose is to keep Roman Nasirov at the post of the SFS head, control of the Transcarpathian customs office by appointment of loyal management and control of Transcarpathian region.

It is a kind of reward for the support of the nomination of V.Groisman for the Prime Minister in the Parliament, as well as for further positive voting for government bills. In such circumstances, I consider working as the head of the Transcarpathian Regional State Administration impossible. The region has already been subject to an experiment, when it was given at the mercy of the Baloha clan for political support. Everybody knows how it ended. But not everybody makes conclusions.

I inform that from May 7 I am going on vacation and will return to the office only when V.Kolesnikov is back on the post of the head of the Transcarpathian customs office, and when the central government stop treating Transcarpathia as a ground for political bargaining and experiments.
