Moskal appointed himself the chairman of the Regional Development Council

The head of the Transcarpathian Regional State Administration Hennadiy Moskal reorganized the Regional Development Council. As of July 27, he chairs it himself. The structure also includes the Chairman of the Regional Council, all the heads of district state administration and district councils, all mayors, heads of departments of the RSA.

In accordance with the provisions, the Council will promote effective interaction of local executive authorities with local self-government bodies; make up a coordinated position on the socio-economic and humanitarian development of the region, mechanisms to overcome development disparities, effective use of economic potential of districts (cities), increasing their investment attractiveness and competitiveness. And the most important area of work is preparation of proposals on priorities and mechanisms of administrative-territorial reform at the regional level, the formation of effective local self-government and territorial organization of power according to the standards of the European Charter of Local Self-Government.
