The registration for external testing will begin on February 5. The passport of a citizen of Ukraine (ID-card) is mandatory for taking the external independent testing. Young people receive a citizen’s passport at the age of 14. To obtain an ID-card, you must contact the territorial unit of the migration service within one month after turning 14. The first electronic passport is issued only at the place of registration.
The list of documents required for the issuance of a plastic passport is kept to a minimum – birth certificate, parents’ passports, certificate of registration of the place of residence, identification code. The service for young applicants is free .
In 2018, almost 52 thousand passports of a citizen of Ukraine in the form of ID-cards were issued in Transcarpathia, half of them were issued to minors. This was reported by the Main Office of the SMS of Ukraine in Transcarpathian region.
