Martial law is being introduced in 10 regions of Ukraine: Transcarpathia is not among them

During the emergency meeting of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine, which began at 16:00 on November 26, 276 people’s deputies supported the introduction of the martial law from 9:00 on November 28 for 30 days in 10 regions of Ukraine

The list of regions where martial law is being introduced:

Vinnytsia;

Odesa;

Kherson;

Mykolayiv;

Donetsk;

Zaporizhzhya;

Luhansk;

Sumy;

Chernihiv;

Kharkiv.

Petro Poroshenko, who initially proposed to introduce the martial law for 60 days, after signing the decree, called for it to be shortened to 30 days. Such measures were necessary to ensure that the presidential election take place on March 31, 2019, – the publication Vchasno informed.

Recall that the introduction of the martial law is caused by the aggravation of the situation in the ​​Azov Sea, where on Sunday, November 25, there was a skirmish between naval forces of Russia and Ukraine, as a result of which the enemy fleet captured two Ukrainian small armored artillery boats and one tugboat that were going from Odesa to Mariupol.

There were 23 soldiers on board of Ukrainian ships, 6 of them were injured as a result of hostilities. Two are in a serious condition.
