On February 4, the marriage of the first couple under the project "Marriage in a day" will be registered in Uzhgorod. The ceremony will be held in the Transcarpathian Regional Philharmonic (Teatralna Square). The beginning is at 13.00.
The Main Territorial Department of Justice in Transcarpathian region finished the arrangements for implementing the pilot project "Marriage in a day" in the regional center. In particular, they have determined the places, where state registration of marriages under the project will be performed. Those are the Museum of Folk Architecture and Life, the Transcarpathian Regional Academic Puppet Theatre and the Transcarpathian Regional Philharmonic.
The pilot project of the Ministry of Justice of Ukraine "Marriage in a day", in addition to Uzhgorod, is being implemented in Kyiv, Lviv, Odesa, Kherson, Mariupol, Severodonetsk, Vinnytsia, Dnipro, Lutsk, Mykolayiv, Kamyanets-Podilsky, Rivne, Zhytomyr, Kharkiv, Ivano-Frankivsk, Sumy, Ternopil, Chernivtsi and Chernihiv. According to statistics of marriage registration in these cities, the new service is quite popular.
