Despite a difficult time for Ukraine, given all the twists and turns of the year that will soon become history, people are waiting for the New Year and Christmas holidays. They decorate Christmas trees, adorn territory, meet fairy-tale characters who congratuleate them on the upcoming holidays.
In districts of Transcarpathian region, they have begun decorating main Christmas beauties too.
Thus, in Uzhgorod, there are 2 Christmas trees: on Narodna Square – a patriotic one, on Teatralna Square – decorated with unusual toys.

In Mukachevo, the main Christmas beauty is from Mizhhirya district, it is decorated traditionally with toys from schoolchildren of the city.
This year’s Christmas tree in the border town of Chop is distinguished for extraordinary beauty: thick branches, bright illumination… Furthermore, the fence around the Christmas tree, lamps in the downtown area, arborvitae and fir trees are also decorated with lights. Garlands are pleasing to the eyes too.

In Beregovo, the forest beauty was set up on December 9. The height of the tree is 15 meters, it was brought from Mizhhirya district and opened during Beregovo Christmas Fair.
In Velyky Berezny, the Christmas tree was opened by fairy-tale characters, the performance was arranged by the district House of Culture.
In Vynogradyv, the main Christmas tree of the district is 16 meters high, it was brought from Holmovets.

The opening of the Christmas tree in Irshava will be held today, December 25.The main attribute of New Year and Christmas holidays here is once again artificial, 15 meters high.
In Perechyn, for the third year in a row, they have decorated the main Christmas tree that grows in the city center. The tree is 25 years old.
The main Christmas tree in Rakhiv was opened with a festive entertainment presented by amateur groups of the District House of Culture.
The highest Christmas tree in Transcarpathia is in Svalyava. The height of the tree is about 28 m. For five years in a row, on the New Year’s holidays, one of two colorful "live" green beauties has been decorated.
The height of the Cristmas tree in Tyachiv is about 15 meters – a little more than last year. Interestingly, the New Year’s beauty was given to the city by tenants of the house №6 on Komsomolska Street.
Residents of Khust received the forest beauty from workers of Ust-Chorna Forestry in the village of Ruska Mokra in Tyachiv district. The height of the tree is 17 meters.
