Lunchenko reported that he had equipped soldiers in the East, but gave everything to police officers (+ PHOTOS)

On Saturday, July 26, the head of the Transcarpathian Regional Administration Valeriy Lunchenko, at the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine Office in Transcarpathian region, handed over the military equipment to be sent to the East.

The military ammunition was purchased by the head of the region, members of the "Front of Changes" factions in the Regional Council.

Thus, he handed over imagers, helmets, body armor, tactical goggles, sleeping bags, first aid kits, binoculars, footwear, chainsaws, radios, camouflage and other gear.

 – Today we are handing over body armor, helmets, night vision devices and other ammunition. I wish these things would not have to be used as intended. Ukrainian soldiers are defending and freeing our country from invaders and terrorists. Therefore, they must have the necessary equipment. Those countrymen fighting in the ATO area are the real heroes. Today, active citizens are doing everything to fully equip the soldiers. Together we can help our soldiers to liberate Ukraine from enemies. In the future, all the soldiers going to the East to defend the country from invaders will be provided with the necessary equipment – Valeriy Lunchenko said – the press center of the Transcarpathian Regional State Administration reported.

Recall that today, a consolidated unit of Transcarpathian police officers went to the East. Probably, it is them who received presents from the governor. Meanwhile, many Transcarpathians fighting in the East are equipped significantly worse than the police officers, and volunteers gather necessary ammunition for them "bit by bit".
