The Deputy Head of the Regional State Administration Ivan Kachur visited the Regional center of mother and child and the Regional hostel for orphans and children deprived of parental care in Perechyn.
The social centers for mothers and children is temporary home for pregnant women and mothers with children under the age of 18 months who do not have proper living conditions. It is designed for 20 mothers and their children.
The main goal of the social hostel is to provide free psychological, social, health, public services and to create appropriate conditions for the adaptation of people in later life.
Currently, 15 girls and 6 boys live in the hostel. During the year, 19 children deprived of parental care and three orphans have found a shelter there. During 9 months, 43 people have received help in the institution. Thus, some people, who have used the services of the social hostel, managed to establish relationships with families, one person was arranged for study, the two were registered at the employment center, 15 were employed, 19 received medical assistance, 5 at the time are on the housing register.
Maintenance of these facilities is funded from the regional budget. In 2013, almost 500,000 UAH from the regional treasury have been allocated for the maintenance of the social hostel and almost 450,000 UAH for the Regional center of mother and child.
The Deputy Head of the Regional State Administration visited the renovated premises and gave hostel residents a computer and a microwave – the press-center of the RSA reported.
