Uzhgorod budget will be "patched" at the expense of other districts of the region.

Yesterday uzhgorod.in informed about the dire situation with local budget revenues in Transcarpathia. In Uzhhorod, the budget has been fulfilled by only 93.8%, the city treasury falls short of over 11 million hryvnias. On November 14, the head of the RSA Oleksandr Ledyda issued the order, which proposes to reallocate subventions from the state budget to local budgets for benefits on communications services, to compensate for loss of income due to the abolition of the tax on vehicle owners and corresponding increase in rates of the excise tax on fuel and to compensate for transportation benefits for certain categories of citizens. Over one million hryvnias will be taken from the budget of Irshava district. Uzhgorod instead will receive 851,000, Khust district – 200,000.

The governor ordered the Department of Finance of the RSA to make appropriate amendments to the regional budget and to submit them at the session of the Regional Council.
