The head of the region Oleksandr Ledyda addressed to the head of the Office of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine in Transcarpathian region Vasyl Vartsaba with a request to find the perpetrators in the arson of the car belonging to Uzhgorod City Council deputy Yaroslav Shafar as soon as possible – the press center of the RSA reported.
The head of Transcarpathian Regional State Administration stressed the importance of prompt and impartial investigation of the crime and prosecution of perpetrators. Oleksandr Ledyda noted that he believes that any pressure on activists is unacceptable and asked Vasyl Vartsaba to inform him about the investigation of the case.
