Last year, Uzhgorod carriers did not buy a single new bus

The increase of bus fares in Uzhgorod does not affect the performance of the carriers’ obligations in transportation of passengers. 

According to calculations for the formation of fares, the city carriers assume vehicle depreciation in amount of 5%. Currently, in the city 18 carriers work on 29 routes, 184 buses are used. According to the approved charges for depreciation, last year, the carriers should have bought 8 new buses, but they did not purchase any.

In total, last year, 16 million 146 thousand passengers used transport services in the city, which is 0.5% more than that in 2013.
