An unknown person, made a shot at the house of a resident of Vynogradiv. Nobody was hurt due to the shooting, because no one was home. Criminal proceeding over this incident has started – the Narional Police Office in Transcarpathian region informs.
Today, March 27, around 5:00 am, a resident of Vynogradiv called the police and reported that he had heard the sound of a shot and then an explosion in his neighbor’s yard.
The police officers immediately arrived at the scene and found out that the building roof and a wall were damaged. Nobody was hurt as a result of the shot, since the house was empty. Currently, experts are establishing type of the weapon. A criminal proceeding over this incident was initiated under Part 4 of Art. 296 of the Criminal Code, ie hooliganism with the use of firearms or knives.
We ask anyone who witnessed the incident or has any information regarding this fact, to contact the nearest police station or call "102".
According to the portal Mukachevo.net, the house belongs to the former prosecutor of Khust prosecution office and the first deputy head of Transcarpathian Regional Prosecution Office Ivan Kailo.
