Kyiv will cut the budget of Transcarpathia by almost 150 million (DOCUMENT)

The consolidated budget of Transcarpathian region will be reduced by 156,979,000 UAH. The regional budget was ​​reduced after the Parliament revised the main financial document of the country on March 27. The budget of Uzhgorod will be reduced by 9 million 330 thousand, Mukachevo – by 6 million 800 thousand, Khust – by 2 million 660 thousand, Beregovo – by 1 million 850 thousand and Chop – by 55 thousand hryvnias. Among district budgets, that of Tyachiv district will be cut by 17 million 362 thousand, of Vynogradiv district – by 11 million 747 thousand, and of Irshava district – by 10 million 517 thousand. The appropriate changes to the budget shall be approved at the local councils meetings by April 16.

However, Transcarpathia will receive more money for subsidies to pay utility bills – more than 22 million. Due to reduction of social payments, the region will save 176 million in 2014.
