Klitschko: There can be no compromises with thugs and dictators

With the second attempt to crackdown the Euromaidan, Viktor Yanukovych closed the path to any compromise, which some politicians and public figures encouraged to, the leader of the "UDAR" Vitaliy Klitschko said.

"There can be no compromises with thugs and dictators. They should be driven out. Today, the task number one is resignation of Yanukovych and his whole rotten government," – Klitschko said.

"From now on, no talks about any compromise in the form of "technical government" or constitutional amendments. It was just manipulations and games in favor of Yanukovych to preserve his power. But the main evil is Yanukovych himself, everything else was created by him," – he said.

Klitschko said that his main goal is a complete change of power and punishment for all responsible for the crackdown of the Maidan and provocations at the Presidential Administration.

"I responsibly declare that together with citizens, who have expressed in the streets across the country their distrust and disrespect for Yanukovych’s authority, I will do anything to change this government as soon as possible" – Klitschko said.

As reported, December 11, around midnight, thousands of security forces surrounded the Euromaidan and stormed the barricades installed around the tents. The confrontation continues.
