July 8, 2013, member of Uzhgorod City Council Vasyl Hnatkiv filed the deputy appeal to the Prosecutor of Transcarpathian region to check the legality of occupation (the receipt and use) of the apartment at Sobranetska st. 146/26 by the director of the Municipal Economy Department, Oleksiy Kasperov. In particular, he questioned the legitimacy of the Mayor’s order, the executive committee decisions regarding the conversion of these premises, which are in the municipal ownership of the territorial community of the city, into the dormitory..
Also, the deputy demanded to stop illegal actions related to gross violation of the Law of Ukraine "On Access to Public Information", ie avoidance of publishing draft decisions and actual decisions of the executive committee on the official website of the city council.
