Jiri Byehounek again has been elected as the Hetman of Vysočina

In mid-October in the Czech Republic there was the election to the local government bodies. November 9 in Vysočina region there was the inauguration meeting of the regional parliament, which re-elected Jiri Byehounek- a representative of the Social Democrats – as the Hetman of the region for the next four-year period, – informed the press service of the regional council. 
In his speech before the vote the Hetman stressed the importance of strengthening inter-regional and cross-border cooperation. As you know, Vysočina cooperates with Transcarpathia. "We have been and are helping, and I believe that we will continue to help our partner region Transcarpathia in Ukraine" – he said.
One of the first to congradulate Jiří Byehounek with re-election as the Hetman was the chairman of Transcarpathian regional council Ivan Baloha.
"Well-established partnership between our regions, which has been successfully developing over five years, is very important not only for the two regions, but also for our states. During this time Vysočina has become near and dear to Transcarpathians, and you and your colleagues have become true friends and brothers.
We believe that with your personal support, the support of newly elected Vysočina region deputies we will continue the initiated activities and develop further joint cooperation projects of our regions, and that this cooperation, as it has been by this time, will bring positive results for both parties. 
I wish you, Honorable Mr. Hetman, good health and much success in your responsible state activity and I wish the people of Vysočina peace, prosperity and well-being" – he said in his congradulation.
