Recently, in the halls of the Transcarpathian Regional Art Museum, there was the opening of a solo jubilee exhibition of paintings by People’s Artist of Ukraine, sculptor Ivan Brovdi that is dedicated to his 75th anniversary.
The exhibition in Uzhgorod is picturesque and features more than fifty works.
Art historian Olena Prikhodko said about the works of the artist that they have rich and incredible flavor. They can be identified and characterized by their wide decorative nature, bold deformation and styling. Most clearly it is expressed in those pictures where there are autobiographical moments.
The author himself emphasized that every solo exhibition is important for him because it gives him opportunity to see "himself" through the eyes of other people and to know in which direction to move on.
