It is our duty to fight for every one of our citizens – Robert Horvat

During the meeting of the parliamentary faction, Robert Horvat addressed to the President of Ukraine on the detention of our fellow Transcarpathian in Egyptian prison. The MP wtote about that on his page on Facebook: "During the meeting of the faction, I appealed to the President of Ukraine about our citizen, Chikosh Edward, who became a victim of the authoritarian regime and was sentenced to life imprisonment. I believe that is our duty to fight for every one of our citizens, so I sent a formal appeal to the President. The President, for his part, promised to provide diplomatic support."

Recall that our fellow resident of Uzhgorod Edward Chikosh has been held in Egyptian prison for six years because of allegations of intentions to incite riots.
