International Organ Music Festival starts with the program “Pure France” (ANNOUNCEMENT)

The XI Natalia Vysich International Organ Music Festival kicks off on September 19 at 6:30 pm with the grandiose program "Pure France". The soloist of the Philharmonic, the winner of international competitions Kateryna Hazho (organ), Ksenia Guseva (piano, Kyiv) and the Philharmonic Symphony Orchestra will open the festival. The musicians will perform the Concerto for Two Pianos with orchestra in D minor and the Concerto for organ with orchestra in G minor by the eminent French composer and pianist Francis Poulenc. Conductor – Honored Artist of Ukraine Victoria Svalyavchyk-Tsanko. The event will be hosted by the music historian Natalia PITSUR. 

As for the other soloist, Ksenia Guseva is a 4th year student of the National Music Academy of Ukraine (Professor T. Roshchyna’s class). She graduated from Uzhgorod State Music College in the class of the teacher O. Turyanytsia, she was a laureate of the International Competition "21st Century Art" in the category "Soloist and Ensemble" and the open competition of pianists "Interpretation of Contemporary Music" (Kyiv).

 In general, during the XI Natalia Vysich International Organ Music Festival, five different concert programs will be presented featuring musicians from Uzhgorod, Odessa, Kyiv, Khmelnitsky, as well as Hungary. In addition to the organ, saxophone, flute, violin, piano, trumpet pieces will be performed on the main stage of the region. The performers have prepared music from the Baroque era to the present, including jazz.
