Inspired music: the International Youth Festival will be held in Uzhgorod (announcement)

From September 18 to October 1, in the Transcarpathian Reginal Philharmonic, the VI International Youth Festival of Organ Music will be held.  For almost two weeks, you will have the opportunity to attend a series of concerts featuring symphonic, chamber, pop brass orchestras and soloists of the Philharmonic, as well as guest musicians.

In particular,                                                                

September 18 (Thursday), at 18.00 –  Opening of the festival. The program "Italian Souvenir" will be presented by Stanislav Zubytsky (flute, Italy), Olesya Haiduk (organ, Uzhgorod) and the Philharmonic Chamber Orchestra (manager – honored artist of Ukraine Vladislav Yurosh). The program title speaks for itself: it includes brilliant masterpieces of Italian composers S.Mercadante, G.Pergolesi, B.Marcello, A.Vivaldi, V.Monti, G.Briccialdi.

 

September 21 (Sunday), at 17.00 – Concert of Katerina Shapran (organ, Ukraine – Slovakia). For the festival, young resident of Uzhgorod, currently studying in Kosice Conservatory, has chosen works of J.S. Bach, M.Reger, O.Maha, H.Mushel and her own compositions.

During the VI International Youth Festival of Organ Music, concerts will also take place on 25 and 28 of September, and the closing will take place on October 1, on the International Day of Music.

 

      

By the way, the VI International Youth Festival of Organ Music will launch the 68th concert season of the Transcarpathian Regional Philharmonic.
