Information for citizens and entrepreneurs! Starting September 14, traffic at the checkpoint “Uzhgorod” will be limited

The implementation of the project "Modernization and reconstruction of checkpoints on the Slovak-Ukrainian border" at the checkpoint "Uzhgorod – Vysne Nemecke" continues.

The Transcarpathian customs office has signed a contract with a construction organization – the winner of the procurement procedure.In this regard, starting from September 14, 2015, the restriction of traffic at the checkpoint "Uzhgorod" will be introduced, and the exit from Ukraine at the passenger section of the checkpoint will be blocked.

The traffic of passenger cars and buses will be carried out freely according to the temporary scheme at the entrance lane of the passenger section of ​​the checkpoint "Uzhgorod". 

The reconstruction will last until the end of the year.

To avoid queues, please take this information into account and, if possible, plan the crossing of the customs border at other checkpoints of the Transcarpathian customs office or other customs offices.
