In Vynogradiv district, the state lost land because of actions of officials

Because of illegal actions of officials in Vynogradiv district, a plot of public land worth nearly 500,000 UAH was illegally disposed

Vynogradiv District Prosecutor’s Office, launched criminal proceedings over issuing knowingly false official document and abuse of power by officials of Tekiv village council under Part 2 of Art. 366 and Part 2 of Art. 364 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine. 

According to the Prosecutor of Vynogradiv District Yuriy Belamut, the officials of Tekiv village council by forging the documents, in violation of the Land Code of Ukraine, granted a Transcarpathian a land parcel in area of 1.42 hectares free of charge, while most of this land, namely 0.68 hectares, was not subject to free privatization, since it could have beeen disposed only for compensation as prescribed by the law.

As a result of the illegal actions of the officials, the plot of public land worth almost 500,000. UAH was illegally disposed.
