Vynogradiv police quickly found out the circumstances of fraudulent actions against residents of Vynogradiv district, the Main office of the National Police of Transcarpathia informs.
The man, who is involved in a number of crimes related to fraudulent actions, has already been notified of being suspected.
The offense was reported by a resident of the village of Korolevo, who had received the fake bill for electricity this month.
A similar report was received from another resident of the village.
The police quickly tracked down the scammer. It was a 33-year-old resident of Vynogradiv.
A criminal proceeding over the incident was opened under Part 2 of Art. 190 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine.
