October 10th, at 20:37, the Rescue Service "101" received a report of a fire in a residential house in the village of Latirka. Crews of the 11th State Fire and Rescue Units and rescuers of the State Fire and Rescue Post of the village of Nyzhni Vorota were sent at the scene. In total, 7 personnel members and 2 vehicles were engaged.
Firefighters had to act quickly, because due to late report, the fire had spread almost over the entire house. The fact that the house was made of wood also contributed to the rapid spread of the fire. The rescuers went into the house and found a body without signs of life. It was the owner of the house born in 1955.
The fire was contained at 21:15, and completely eliminated at 22:30. The neighbor’s house was saved from fire.
The amount of loss is being established.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
