In Volovets district, a cow was rescued from the well which it had falling into (Photo)

In the village of Bukovets in Volovets district, the Rescue Service received the information that a cow had fallen into a 7-meter-deep well. The owner of the cow and his neighbors could not help the animal on their own so they appealed to the rescuers. A group of the State Fire and Rescue Post in the village of Nyzhni Vorota was sent at the scene to rescue the cow. Having assessed the situation, rescuers realized that the cow could not be taken out without a special lifting device. So, they decided to use a crane. Strapping the animal with fire hoses, rescuers together with local residents in 30 minutes lifted the cow from the trap. The animal was not injured and half an hour later was grazing on the lawn.
