In Uzhgorod Transcarpathian souvenir magnets, developed by students of the Tourism Department of UzhNU, were presented

November 26 in Uzhgorod Press Club there was the presentation of souvenir magnets dedicated to Transcarpathian tourist sparkles. The magnets were presented to journalists by their authors – students of the Tourism Department of UzhNU.
The collection of magnets (30 souvenirs with different images) is devoted to tourism festivals, services and products of Transcarpathia.
Student Mykola Tsybulyak said: "In our time, the magnets become decorative elements, which we "hang" on appliances. Magnets have become popular and almost everyone who travels often brings a "magnet" of the city he or she visited. They have even become collectibles. Thus, in the U.S. there is a collection of 29,000 magnets. We developed magnets based on tourism products of Transcarpathia in order to popularize them."
Tetyana Leshko noted that magnets are of different types – clay, plastic and so on. "We have used both plastics and ceramics. Each magnet tells about some tourist route" – says T. Leshko. 30 best magnets developed by students of UzhNU will be selected for a collection that will be available for tourists along with other souvenirs of Transcarpathia.
Student Diana Khashcha showed the magnet developed by her – it is dedicated to the route also developed by her during the study. It is a coffee route. The magnet was made by Diana on her own – from clay, which features a three-dimensional image of a coffee bean.
Souvenir magnets have been manufactured by students as a practical task of the teachers of the tourism department of UzhNU. However, they have aroused interest among specialists, so students are hoping for success of new tourism products.
