In Uzhgorod, they are fighting for advertising space (document)

Or rather, they are fighting in court for the right to use billboards.
The mayor Victor Pogorelov also mentioned the litigation for advertising. That was how he commented on the recent decision of the executive committee to reject the draft decision "On 
outdoor advertising", according to which 56 new boards should have appeared in Uzhgorod.

Yet, the old advertising war between the government and private entrepreneurs continue.

Thus, Lviv Administrative Court of Appeal, by its last decision of December 3, ruled to uphold the appeal of the private enterprise "Shark -plus " and cancel the decision of the executive committee of Uzhgorod City Council dd. 15.08.2012 , № 272 for renewal of permits for outdoor advertising under the application of the PE "Outdoor – Shark " for the "ECO XXI century" LLC. Now the case should be finally resolved in Uzhgorod City and District Court.

If you look at the above mentioned decision number 272, you can see that it is about the right to use 69 large billboard measured 3×6 m, 5 back -lights and 11 city-lights. Given that there is a moratorium on the installation of new billboards in the city, it is worth to sue for these objects, because they are actually deficit.

Also, if you make some estimates, the cost of advertising on one billboard is up to 1000 UAH per month.

Suppose, 69 x 1000 = 69 000 UAH. Plus the above mentioned city lights and back lights. So, there is something to fight for.
