In Uzhgorod, the police have found two residents of the district who were hiding from justice

Officers of Uzhgorod district police have found two wanted residents of the villages of Velyki Lazy and Dovhe Pole. Both tried to avoid responsibility for their offenses.

Thus, a 30-year-old resident of the village of Velyki Lazy failed to appear for hearing in the case of metal product theft. The police conducted an investigation and referred the case with the indictment to the court. However, the suspect tried to avoid the punishment and for a long time was hiding from the law enforcement agencies. He was detained yesterday, at his place of residence, where he had returned to from abroad.

In addition, the police found a 53-year-old woman, a resident of the village of Dovhe Pole, who was accused of property crime. The woman stole a wallet fom an Uzhgorod resident.

Both wanted person were detained and taken to the Uzhgorod City and District Court for further consideration of cases.
