As of November 1, Uzhgorod health care institutions have been financed only at 82.4% (plan – 68,3 million hryvnias, financing – 56,3 million hryvnias).
The government covers the "hole" in the budget at the expense of "voluntary" contributions of citizens to various medical funds.
During 10 months, the city hospitals have attracted 3.5 million hryvnas of extra-budgetary funds, which is 31.5 UAH per capita.
Budget expenditures per capita are 562.9 UAH.
The city government also failed repair works in hospitals. Thus, during 10 months of this year, there have been completed works in health care facilities at 553,500 UAH representing 10.8% of the planned figure.
The reconstruction of backup power supply system in the building of the city perinatal center has been completed. Also, they performed work on the reconstruction of the heating system in the central city hospital.
