In Uzhgorod, services continue to liquidate the consequences of yesterday’s disaster (PHOTOS)

As a result of the storm on July 26, 2016:

– 14 trees fell (Fedynets, Tykhy, Tolstoy, B. Khmelnitsky, L. Ukrainka streets…). Currently, all driveways, sidewalks, squares are cleared from fallen trees;

– about 70 trees were damaged (broken skeletal branches) in the city center and about 100 trees in intrablock territories. About 90 cubic meters of branches has been cut and removed, the work continues;

– 4 cars, 1 playground, 7 billboards were damaged

– 6 lines of street lighting network were damaged. Now, they are working to restore the network on Mondok, Pogorelov, Polyova, F.Tikhy, P.Myrny streets, B.Khmelnytsky Square.

– 15 power lines, 1 concrete footing on Fedynets street were damaged (as of 9:00, three consumers are without electricity supply).

15 vehicles and all utilities / contractors are engaged in the works, Uzhgorod City Council reported on its Facebook page.
