In Uzhgorod PrivatBank suspended sale of currency

As it became known to uzhgorod.in, PrivatBank stopped selling currencies in connection with a possible increase in the exchange rate.

Today, at foreign exchange interbank market trading actually stopped by mid-session because there were no supplies for currency sale while there were only application for its purchase. This was reported to UNIAN by a commercial bank dealer. 

"In early trading, "OshchadBank" put up currency for sale, but this amount was not sufficient to meet the demand. There is no offer for sale now. Market actually stopped. National Bank does not intervene the trade market"- said the agency informer. According to him, the quotations had reached 8,1420-8,1520 UAH per USD.
