On June 11, in Uzhgorod, an unknown man attacked a cameraman of the Transcarpathian TV channel "M-Studio" Yevhen Sukhanov and tried to damage the tripod and the camera. This was reported to the regional representative of the IMI in the region by the correspondent of teh TV channel Tetyana Legeza.
According to the journalist, she was making a piece about the conflict over the ownership of a shop in the center of Korzo street. The reporters came up to the shop and started filming it from the street. Soon, an unknown man came out of the shop and told the journalists to stop shooting.
The reporters said that they were working on the street, and stressed that they had the right to film under the laws of Ukraine. Soon, another man ran out of the store and attacked the cameraman.
Journalists called the police, law enforcement officers are establishing the circumstances of the incident.
