Yesterday, officers of Uzhgorod district police and offisers of the Security Service of Ukraine Office in Transcarpathian region, at the 381st kilometer of the pipeline of the SE "Prikarpatzakhidtrans" owned by the "Yugo-Zapad" JSC (Samara, Russia), in a wooded area on the outskirts of the village of Tsyhanivtsi, detected an unauthorized tie-in in the oil pipeline. At the scene of the crime, they found traces of car tires, cloth gloves, welder’s goggles and took some diesel fuel from the pipe for examination.
No oil leaks and threats to the environment were detected.
