The third Saturday of June is the International Quilting in Public Day, when quilting masters from all over the world come together and make quilts outdoors, promoting this craft.
And for the third time, master Irina Lukashenko invites everyone, who is fond of the quilting art, to spend this day together and to create somewhat beautiful.
"This year, I celebrate this day in Uzhgorod. So I invite all Uzhgorod residents, who love handicrafts, to join me. Come to the Teatralna Square, to the garden under the chestnuts near the Philharmonic on June 16 at 11 o’clock. Bring needles, thread, scissors for fabric and paper for the master class. I will provide everyone with good fabrics. And also bring your works – we will arrange a sort of an impromptu exhibition. And of course, bring a good mood", – the craftswoman invites to the "Handmade Picnic".
